Our grapes are fed by the purest mountain water and blown by the winds of the Assa Valley. The soil in the valley was once the bed of a large mountain river, which is why it is so rich in macro and microelements. For centuries, the river has deposited mountain silt, minerals, fertile soil, sand, clay on our lands, feeding the vineyards with its life-giving waters.
Another feature is the dry air relative to the coastal countries and a fairly low amount of precipitation. On average, winter and summer precipitation in our region is about 600-700 mm per year. Also, the wind always blows in our vineyards. In the evening - night breeze from the mountains, in the morning - daytime.
Therefore, we do not need to pollinate grapes with chemicals to protect against moisture diseases, including mildew and phylloxera. The result is a surprisingly pure, organic product, which is rare in the world wine practice! ⠀
