If we look at our vineyards we will notice the old Kurgans around. These are the graves of the nobles of the Saka era, the approximate age is from 2200-2700.

In these mounds during excavations archaeologists found not only the remains of animals and grains but also grape seeds.

As a conclusion it can be noted that viticulture was one of the important agricultural crops in our territory during the ancient times.

Viticulture could come to us from the Caucasus and from Persia, South Asia. Since our territory has always been on the trade routes between Europe and Asia.

But during the period of constant wars in later centuries viticulture ceased to be a noticeable industry on our territory.
