We planted Cabernet Franc in 2007. The vines were brought from France, grafted. They have taken root very well in our climate. Lagyl Arba Saperavi Reserve 2013 is one of the first experiments in long-term aging of red wine in barrels, thanks to which the wine turned out to be very round and soft. 2013 was a relatively cool, humid year, but this did not affect the quality of the wine due to long aging in oak barrels. Softness, elegance and fruity aromas have been preserved. The richness of various shades of Saperavi is reflected in various notes of red berries and chocolate vanilla. This is a wonderful experiment that will become a tradition.
